Foreign direct investment in media sector rises

Keeping with the Indian entertainment industry's growing presence in the international market, foreign direct investment (FDI) in this sector went up to Rs 8000 crore in 2007, according to a PricewaterHouse Coopers (PWC) report for the year 2008.
